Jason Parker PNA ASA BComm Dip Fin Serv (Fin. Plan)
Jason is a public accountant of diverse experience. Beginning in the accounting profession at a relatively late stage (around 29 years of age), he realised he had discovered his calling, his life's major "work". Jason had a dream, a very strong vision. He could see a financial "one-stop-shop". A place where businesses and individuals could go for all things financial. Whether it was for accounting and taxation, finance, financial planning, etc. it would be available at an affordable price. The services would be convenient and available in a package if multiple services were required, thus creating cost savings for the client and a streamlining of the service itself.
The accounting experience Jason has obtained to date is quite varied. This includes work in public practice in Launceston, Tasmania, and on Sydney's North Shore. Jason has taught the whole gamut of accounting subjects at the Institute of TAFE Tasmania to the tune of two to two-and-a-half year's full-time equivalent experience. His early accounting positions have included roles from basic bookkeeping right through to Financial Accountant of a group with six hotels. Jason also had valuable experience in the trustee industry working as a Trust Administrator. This position gave him a unique insight into estate planning, tax planning and financial planning in general.
Jason's academic achievements fit very well with the direction of this business. Starting with an Advanced Diploma in Accounting (TAFE Tasmania) in 1997/8, he then articulated into a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting and subsequently a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting), both with the University of Southern Queensland (approx. 1999 - 2003). During a roughly similar period (2000 - 2003) Jason completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Fin. Planning) with Tribeca (then Integratec).
Other incomplete studies have provided Jason with further relevant knowledge. He completed modules with the Trustee Institute of Australia (trust administration). Jason has also put on hold a Bachelor of Laws degree (University of New England), the completion of which remains a burning passion.

Helen is one of the driving forces behind the inception and growth of the business. Helen has an Advanced Diploma (Accounting), and has spent many years in the hospitality and retail industries. A dynamic personality, with an infectious smile, Helen is effectively the face of the organisation's head office. Being a natural relationship builder, Helen is a key person in business development and office administration.
